Blending Tradition and Innovation in Lighting Design

The design of Estelle is dominated by a handmade glass body that is both rigid and closed, protecting its precious interior parts. Yet, its transparency creates an air of lightness, making the textile screen appear to float above the table's surface. This combination of the tradition-rich material of glass and innovative lighting technology results in a unique and engaging design.

Estelle stands out for its three-dimensional light effects that create a moving atmosphere in space. Curved arcs are formed from individual light points, creating a fascinating depth effect. These arcs can be adjusted to individual preferences with a simple touch, allowing the creation of the perfect mood. Encased in a protective glass body, the technology reveals its brilliance, making Estelle more than just a lamp, but a creator of enriching atmospheres.

The realization of Estelle is a testament to vanory's commitment to quality and longevity. The lamps are made from carefully selected materials and consist of individual components from selected manufacturers who are specialists in their field. Each lamp is assembled with traditional craftsmanship in the vanory factory, individually numbered, and meticulously checked to ensure perfect workmanship.

Estelle is equipped with 384 light sources, offering RGB and warm white light, and more than 1 billion colors. Despite its many possibilities, its operation remains simple. It can be operated by a simple switch, and the screen is illuminated sensor-controlled according to the lamp's light. If a different mood is desired, the panel at the top of the luminaire can be touched or the Vanory smartphone app can be used.

The project started in November 2016 in Karlsruhe and was developed throughout 2017. It was exhibited at imm Cologne 2018, Light+Building 2018, and Milan Design Week 2018. Estelle combines classic design with innovative lighting technology to turn lighting moods into an emotional experience. It offers an infinite variety of static and dynamic moods that produce all sorts of colors and transitions, controlled via a touch panel on the luminaire or a smartphone app.

Estelle's unique design and innovative technology have earned it the Silver A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award in 2019. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, and that introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
